If your item happens to be on backorder, or is otherwise unavailable, we will let you know via email. Once your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will ship the order.

(On these we still cover the shipping costs, while the customer pays the freight company's additional delivery fee - which usually is included with the in cart price). LTL FREIGHT SHIPPING POLICY
LTL Freight (Less-Than-Truckload) is used for shipments for larger items or oversized equipment. This requires a truck to deliver your order. The freight carrier contacts you once the order arrives to the distribution center, and they will help you set up an appointment for delivery.
LTL FREIGHT CURBSIDE DELIVERY
For commercial addresses, our free LTL freight shipping option is curbside. This does not include a liftgate. Products requiring freight shipping will have an option to specify whether the item should be delivered to a residential, limited access, or commercial address. If there is no option to select a shipping location, then the cost of shipping is already included.
We highly recommend that you add the optional liftgate option for deliveries to locations without a forklift or loading dock.
FREIGHT DELIVERY LOCATION DETAILS
As mentioned above, the freight delivery location options specify what the delivery location is. They include: Commercial, Residential, Residential Business, or Limited Access.
Commercial Freight Delivery - Commercial freight delivery addresses are defined by freight carriers or zoned by local municipalities as commercial areas or zones. Think warehouses or business squares. Most commercial zones have tractor-trailer access and a loading dock area.
Residential Freight Delivery - Residential addresses are addresses used as a residence, including homes, apartments, condominiums, etc.
Residential Business Freight Delivery - Businesses that operate from a residential address.
Limited Access Freight Delivery - Limited Access areas are defined as locations where deliveries are restricted, limited, or far from a distribution center. Examples include: farms, convention centers, schools, restricted areas like government buildings, etc.
WHAT IS A FREIGHT LIFTGATE?
A freight liftgate is a lift that is commonly found on the back of trucks that can lower freights to ground level. Freight carriers generally prevent their drivers from helping unload heavy deliveries unless they can use a liftgate. For any delivery that does not have a loading dock area, we highly recommend this option. Please note for long items, such as cage banks that are longer than 7 feet, that the liftgate will more than likely not be able to bring it down to ground level. In cases such as these, please have the necessary manpower readily available to accept your delivery.
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail and we will immediately notify the appropriate supplier to begin processing your order. While we almost always have the most up-to-date inventory information, there are rare occasions in which an item may be unavailable or on back-order. If the item is unavailable, we'll let you know and give you the option of receiving a refund or ordering a similar item. If the item is on back-order, we will contact you directly and provide you with an updated shipment date. From there you may either choose to cancel the order or continue with the updated shipment date. Certain made-to-order items may have a longer than normal lead time. If this is the case, the lead time will be specified on the product page. ALL SHIPMENT SHOULD BE INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. DAMAGED PACKAGES SHOULD BE REFUSED. If you notice any damage, you should note it on the freight bill when signing for delivery.
If your product is defective or sustains damage during shipping, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org right away. Remember to keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. All returns need to be authorized by our customer service department prior to being processed. If delivered by Truck Freight, please contact the freight carrier at the phone number on the carrier’s bill. for further assistance with the damaged shipment.
Please note, signing for your delivery without noting any damages or inability to inspect the delivery on the relevant paperwork legally states that you have received your freight in good condition and Offbeat Auto cannot be held liable for any damages, missing pieces, etc. that may be incurred as a result of this decision.
Leaving a note or instructions for the driver is considered to be the same as signing for your products in good condition.
If you authorize the freight company to leave freight without a signature, Offbeat Auto cannot be held liable for any damages, missing pieces, etc. that may be incurred as a result of this decision.
If you choose to sign for a visibly damaged please note on the relevant paperwork that you are signing for a damaged package; however, Offbeat Auto cannot be held liable for any damages or missing pieces for accepted via signature delivery.
Cancellations & Refunds:
To cancel an order, reply to the confirmation email you received when you placed your order online. Just tell us why you need to cancel and we will process it as soon as we can.
All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $50 administration fee, regardless of whether your order has shipped. If you order has shipped, you will also be responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds will be issued to the credit card that you used when placing your order.
How do I return a product?
If you want to return an item, please send an email to email@example.com Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the receipt of your product.
- The product must be returned unopened in the original packaging.
- We do not accept returns of used products.
- You should also provide us with a receipt of your purchase and a reason for returning the item.
Please note that you cannot return an item without a valid return authorization number and there could be up to a 30% restocking fee for returns.
Upon receiving and inspecting the returned product, Offbeat Auto will issue a refund for the full amount minus restocking/administration fees to the credit card used for the purchase only. If you attempt to send the item back without a return authorization number, it will be refused, and you will be charged the return shipping costs. Customers are responsible for paying all shipping and handling costs for returning an item unless you receive a product that you didn't purchase (error on our end).
